Transcript: Hardware Input and output devices are devices that transmit different dater in and out of the computer. For example a keyboards an input device because it inputs data into the computer. Another example is a printer, this is an output device because it brings data out of the computer. There are different types of storage devices and different types. For example if you are storing music the best thing to save it on is a CD. there are also different sizes of storage these are: bits, bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes and terror bytes. These can be stored on anything from memory sticks to floppy disks. Software is a lot like hardware except you can not physically see or touch it. These are things such as computer programs, or even the cloud storage. Microsoft office word is a type of software, as it is operating information information for teh computer. Computer Basics presentation Hardware is a physical components that makes up a computer. These are things such as motherboard, graphics cards, sound cards and RAM. These devices are all stored in the computer tower.
