Daniel at the
Seige Of Boston

Main character summary
Daniel is a strong, brave, and clever
young boy. He is also dark haired and very
lucky. If you ask me he is almost a bit too brave,
he is always getting himself into fights with much
larger and more agile people. With a combination of these traits the book; Daniel and the Seige of Boston 1776, is a very "action packed" book.
Stockdale is a tall, greedy, traitor
that is very rude. He will often cause
the patriots to do whatever the British
want because he is secretly loyal to
the British army. Due to this the british
can expect almost every move the
patriots make.

Historical connection
I know this book is historically correct because it
includes lots of information about events that actually happened in history, such as the revolutionary war and valley forge. For example,
during the introductory paragraph the book said
"By the fifth anniversary of the Boston massacre the
the colonies were on the brink of The Revolutionary War". During the timeline of the book it said "Washington's army encamps at valley forge, Pennsylvania for one winter. 1/4 of the army died of starvation and sickness over 6 months.
I know that this story has a very tragic
problem/conflict, that being war. If you
thought that this was never resolved
then you are entirely wrong. Daniel didn't
actually end The Revolutionary War, but
he still spotted a traitor, which was very
patriotic. This traitor was Stockdale. After
this Daniel renews the appreciation that George Washington gives to him. He soon stops servicing the Patriot Army and decides to go back home to take care of his family.
The conflict of this story
is The Revolutionary War.
I know this because through
the whole book Daniel is
spying for the Patriots.
Another reason I know this
is because Daniels father left
for The Revolutionary War. I
also believe Daniels braveness
affected the story's conflict
because Daniel often thought he
needed to serve his country even
though he was just a young boy.
Due to this he often faced dangers
that no other young boy would face
in there life
