American Crimes Related to Video Games

This graph shows that other countries buy more video games than the USA. However, the USA crime rate is much higher than the other countries. This shows there must be another reason why our crime rate is skyrocketing.

NO

In the United States, children are exposed to violent thing like video games, movies, and real life experiences. Things like video games are a choice leisure activity which does not cause violent behavior (see video). Violent movies are not what will make a person decide to kill people, since its only select people that this happens to. Also, many of these people turned out to be mentally unstable. This proves that other variables like these bring out the violent in people.

As Americans, we enclose ourselves with a violent reality. From a gunman in the streets, to an armed robbery, to school bullying, it truly is inevitable. We can't run away from a violent future of America.

We Can Have Pace With Video Games

Video games are just a form of entertainment, they shouldn't be an excuse for crimes. THEY HAVE FEELINGS TOO!

Education on Topic

When people go see violent movies, they don't usually go on a killing rampage after. This would only happen if they were somehow mentally unstable. For example, when people went to see the movie "300," they didn't walk out of the theater and have a gladiator fight in the parking lot with someone else. Studies prove that people who killed others claiming it was a videogames fault had mental problems.

Roman Entertainment

Most of Ancient Roman entertainment was very violent. Some types of entertainment include gladitorial fights. In a gladiator fight, a trained slave will fight either wild animals or other gladiators or a mixture of both. The most violent thing about these things is that a very huge percentage of those fights are a fight to the death. Another example of violent Roman entertainment is chariot racing. During a chariot race, one man is in a chariot that is pulled by two or more horses around a track 7 times. There was tons of possible violent outcomes. Many drivers fell out of the chariots and were trampled by oncoming horses. Some people cheated by putting things like spikes on their chariot wheels to easily take out other opponents.
