Transcript: When asked what their favorite sport is, 23 out of 51 said baseball which means my survey takers are mostly baseball lovers. Demographics: When asked if they have ever played softball or baseball, 44 out of 51 said "yes". Which means my survey takers should mostly be familiar with Rawlings. The majority (18 out of 50) of the people who answered my survey question "Where are do you live" were from Maryland as opposed to from any other state. The next closest was 9 from PA. This means my results might not vary too much My survey was taken by almost an equal amount of girls and guys. There were 29 males and 22 females. Which means my results will be well-rounded. By: Jack Hennessy Rawlings Blog Psychographics The majority (46 out of 51) of the people who took my survey were of the White race. 2 were Asian, 2 were either Latina or Hispanic, and 1 was from multiple races. This could lead to consistent results. It would have been better if my survey takers were more diverse. When asked if they were currently participating in any organized athletics, only 33 out of 51 said they are. This is important because my results could be outdated. When asked if Rawlings has quality products, 37 out of the 40 who knew what Rawlings was said "yes". This means that those who have heard of it like their products, so my blog will be popular. When asked what their views are on price versus quality, 21 out of 51 said that they prefer a product that is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive that still does a great job. This is important because I know what type of products most people want to buy. When asked if they like watching sports, 50 out of 51 said "yes". This means that my survey takers are familiar with the sports world. When asked how many days a week my survey takers exercise, 31 of them said 5-7 days. This means that the majority of my results are from active people. Survey Results

Transcript: ? Most of the survey participants said that they go to the cinema once a month at least, this means that we will be targetting a more casual audience, as they are not cinema fanatics who may go every day, w ecan do this by making a less complex narrative. This will mean that we can not afford for the age certification of our film to be anything over the 15 rating, otherwise we will lose our target audience. However, we also asked wether our participants like to see blood or gore, and most of them said that they do not, this means that we can either leave out any blood or gore to please our audience, or we could include it to be original and creative. Most of the participants said that from a thriller film they would expect there to be suspence building music, Mystery and Blood. From this information we can either try to be conventional and include these things, or we could try and be original and use other ways of thrilling an audience in our opening sequence. There was an even ammount of gender within our participants Most of our participants said that they would expect to see death from our opening sequence, if we were to include death in our opening sequence it may seem to be a bit too predictable, however, death is included within our main plot, so it may be a good idea to include death to make our film a conventional thriller. Anime and Comedy were the two favourite genre's within our survey, this will mean we will have to add some comical narrative into our thriller to make it appeal to more people. Our participants said that we should not give away a lot of our plot within the opening sequence of a thriller film, we think that this is good advice as the film will seem boring if the plot has already been given away, however, it could also build suspense, as the audience iwll be waiting for the ending to see if they were right with their plot predictions. Our participants also said that they expect to see the scene being set within our opening sequence, this is good advice because it may be hard for our audience to understand the plot if the scene has not been set, especially considering our film is a psychological thriller. Most of the people who took part in our survey were aged between: 13 - 16

Transcript: I think its a good idea and should be encouraged, as females should feel equal in being able to participate in things that might be considered as male orientated. Perhaps, but I think there still tends to be gender stereotypes in society that need to be broken through. Do you think that B-girls are now more accepted within the breakin' community than they used to be? If so, why? Where do you expect to see Breakin'/B-boying? (cc) photo by Metro Centric on Flickr Go for it! Gender shouldn't stop females from doing what males do, dance is about dance, regardless of gender or age or sexuality. doodles I would say they are more accepted within the break dance community, but unfortunately, like our wider society, the practice still remains male dominated. Switch it round though, and ballet is still a female dominated form of dance. Male Dominated 80.9% notes Budapest San Francisco Yes, because of films like Step up etc. that showcases girls talent. yes. i think b-girls have proved that they belong in the community as much as the boys, girls have the attitude and skills to 'bring it'. They are more accepted but I still think there is resistance against them, but it is still more associated with mascline figures... Notes Stockholm What is your opinion on females breakin'? Survey Results (cc) photo by jimmyharris on Flickr I believe that the fact that more and more girls are pushing the boundries of male dominated dance styles. So its becoming more and more accepted by the breaking community. (cc) photo by Franco Folini on Flickr I think its amazing and that more females should get involved... Double click to crop it if necessary I think that woman should empower themselves in a male dominated community. Show them that woman can do it to. That being said, if they dance well they will be respected. If they don't then they can jog on. On the street. In town centres. at talent shows. On telly. Internet (Youtube). TV dance shows. In music videos. In dance films Of course, because many female crews have shown they are equal if not better than an amount of male crews. It's about talent not gender. Yes, because gender equality is becoming more and more prominent. Female Dominated 0.0% Refreshing The more the better outlook photo frame Yes definately, as with everything, women are proving themselves to be as good if not better than men!!! Place your own picture behind this frame!
