COLLISIONS This demonstrates conservation of momentum because the balls move in a certain way depending on how much force is applied to the white ball & its direction. MOMENTUM Inelastic: a collision in which the colliding objects become distorted & generate heat during collision. The law states that, in the absense of an external force, the momentum of a system remains unchanged.
