Housing Columbus is home to the popular Chattahoochee WhiteWater Express which is a river rapids course through the heart of Columbus. The Columbus River Walk, beautiful historic downtown including restored textile factories, historic housing districts, and the Singer Opera House draw large crowds of tourists every weekend. Also, located roughly 3 miles away in Phenix City, Alabama is the fames East Alabama Motor Speedway which is home to 3 of the largest racing events in the southern portion of the United States. They also hold support groups for many different issues if students need a network of people. CSU has a program called CSU Advise that students can utilize. Each student has an advisor that they can go to at any time if they have questions.
