- This article refers to people of the community need to start fighting back as gay marriage is accepted.

- This article refers to many homophobic people as they shout angry slurs to homosexual couples as they walk the streets.

- I chose articles that refer to homosexuality because I feel that

it shows people who are living their life with the idea of a

higher entity but they're learning how to deal on their own

and they are either accepted or completely disrespected.

I believe that these lyrics show the whole idea

of living life on your own and then searching for

pursuit of happiness can refer to religious beliefs,

because every religion is living for the reward of

happiness and endless joy.

Live LIfe.

I chose this quote because I believe it states the philosophy of life. Most people believe in having a religion and believing in a higher entity and we believe that we must learn on our own. "Train a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." -Proverbs 22:6

I Chose this picture because it shows a guy backflipping into water off a cliff. At this moment he's only thinking about lounding comfortably into the water, He's not worried about anything else.. He may not even being worried about landing, He could just be high off of adrelinaline. THis picture i believe shows that you have to take risks and trust in your faith to get you through.

FAMILY:

• Kristi, my mom: "Live life for yourself, make mistakes. If you know God for yourself you will prosper in life."

• Rodney, my stepdad: Paraphrasing, he states that understanding God's purpose for us will help us as we get a chance to live a rich and abundant life.

• Maya, my older sister: Paraphrasing it, she basically says we have to go out into the world alone and do our own thing, while being strong in our beliefs and keeping faith in God.

My initial reaction:

You have to live life and prosper for yourself and I believe in order for me to do this I have to stay steadfast in my faith and keep my beliefs as I endure the hardships of this life.

• To Hurston, she uses this quote to state how one must achieve self revelation and something we all have to do on our own.
• The significance of this quote is that it gives you a tip to add to the list on how to live life.
