Factors affecting Childhood Growth and Development
- Reflexive Movement Phase: In utero to 1 year
- Rudimentary Movement Phase: Birth to 2 yrs
- Fundamental Movement Phase: 2 yrs to 7 yrs
- Specialized Movement Phase: 7 yrs to 14 yrs and up
Differentiation vs. Integration
gradual progression from the gross global movement paterns of infants to the more refined and functional movements of children as they mature
