Comedy

as a popular meaning, is any humorous discourse generally intended to amuse, especially in television, film, and stand-up comedy. This must be carefully distinguished from its academic definition, namely the comic theatre, whose Western origins are found in Ancient Greece. In the Athenian democracy, the public opinion of voters was remarkably influenced by the political satire performed by the comic poets at the theaters.

Magic Formula for a good Comedy

There's really no secret formula for it, what you need is a good facial expression,

correct attitude and one big humourus joke.

For example, you're with your friends and this minutes of silents strike between you and your friends, try a little "knock knock" joke, it'll be sure bring laughter, even though it is a corny joke, because of too much corny to it, it brings laughter and joy to them. or as i call it, the surprise joke.
