But Conditions Worsened after Midnight
Fire and Police Crews Worked All Night
And Used Boats to Rescue Stranded People
People Fired Pistols and Guns into the Air to Signal Rescuers
Flooding in North Park was so dangerous, no boats could attempt rescues.
Flooding Knocked Out Power and Phone lines, and "Seriously Handicapped" Railways.
