-Builds writing stamina

-Shows growth over time

-Gives opportunities for practice with phonetic spelling/sight word spelling application

-Lets your child experiment with richer vocabulary as they document experiences or create stories with your support

What to look for:

-Complete sentences

Capital letters/Ending punctuation/Who/What/Phonetic spelling

-Legible handwriting

-Beginning of the year goal = 3 sentences. Please encourage more if your child is ready!
