- Linked with Faculty curriculum: received special Programing Board workshops from faculty on history and culture
- Partner with a dance company for 6 day and night performances from 3 regions in Mexico
- Partner with DREAMers and EOPS
- Interactive activities for sugar skull decorating, face painting, papel flor workshops, and educational altars
- Raised $162 for DREAMers book vouchers

Access to School Supplies Initiative
We have provided over 12,000 free prints and copies of homework and essays this semester!
Campus Visit to University of the Pacific
The Associated Students of University of the Pacific provided the entire Student Senate free lunch, showed us around campus, and discussed Student Senate issues.
Cañada created and hosted the first State-Wide Social Justice “PreCon”
at the Museum of Tolerance.
We hosted 50 students from 8 different California Community Colleges.
"Catch All the Possibilities" Leadership Retreat
Ended the CCCSAA Conference by visiting an ASCC
alumna who spoke to us about what to expect in the first months after transfer.
13 workshops over three days covering leadership, communication, group work, micro-aggressions, self-assessments, and crisis management activities.

California Community College Student Leadership Conference
Student Transportation
- Provided 4,200 rides this semester
- Provided 11,000 rides since start of program last year
- Met with SamTrans representatives last month to discuss a more sustainable student discount program
580 participants and 62 Community Colleges join together for “Leaders Assemble: Creating Heroes for Tomorrow”. We participated in over 19 workshops addressing leadership and teamwork for a socially just community.
