Change of SIDA Address

* Proposal to review SIDA log on 22 Aug 2015.

* First review was done on 5 Dec 2015.

* Committee will have to decide the review after the third review.

6-0040: SIDA logo was reviewed to keep our association in touch with the changes in global technological condition.

6-0020: There was a change of SIDA official address due to the passing of Mr Kam, one of our past SIDA founders. Our official address was change from Mr Kam's office to Testmax manufacturing address. This is thank to Mr Tan to allow us to use his office address for SIDA.

We started 2015 with a joint project (project NATIONAL), an invention meant for Singapore 50 years golden jubilee celebration. Unfortunately, our patent search result shows that it may infringe a Microsoft patent.

Although the project was stopped in Jan 2015, we were able to benefit from the experience. Our failure in this project will help to built the basic foundation and experience necessary for our future joint project.

Going forward, I hope that we continue with this momentum to start more joint projects that can benefit our members.

6-1000: Vice President's comment.

* DBS kept charging extra charges because our fund was lower than their minimum limit.

* SIDA Committee top up account with advance membership fee but DBS kept increasing the minimum limit.

* DBS bank account was closed and all funds transfer to a new Maybank account.

* Cost of S$110 incurred for the certified copy of our SIDA constitution, paid to ROS.

3. Establish SIDA Advisors Network

6-0050: Lastly, we have comments from our President, George, and Vice President, David.

6-0030: We migrated our SIDA funds from DBS to May Bank because of recurring penalty charges levy by DBS.

6-0010: Lastly, we look at some other issues.

5. Collaboration with external parties

IPOS meeting

RehabTech Asia 2015

* 20 Mar 2015.

* Purpose of this meeting by IPOS is to seek feedback on the change of Singapore patent system from the old self assessment system to positive grant system

* Attended by Tan, Kim and Jason.

* 26 Mar 2015.

* Khim participation in the invention pitching.

* SIDA brochure place at Khim's booth to promote SIDA.

5-0020: We attended an IPOS meeting on 20 Mar 2015 to offer feedback on the change of Singapore patent system from the old self assessment system to a positive grant system.

5-0030: Our committee member, Khim, took part in Rehab Tech Asia 2015.

4-0030: We started making digital calendar for 2015 and 2016 and uploaded it to our SIDA for public to download. This is meant as a promotional material for SIDA.
