Overall I think the best option would be Summit Entertainment as they distribute a lot of films within our genre and they all do extremely well in the cinema. However I also think Film 4 could be a good option as they help out small film makers to get their films recognized.

Film 4 are a British film company owned by Channel 4. They like to help smaller British filmmakers to get their films noticed as well as help larger films get the recognition it deserves.

A Cinderella Story was distributed by Warner Bros (WB). WB is an American producer of film, television, and music entertainment. They have distributed films such as: Police Academy, Harry Potter, P.S I Love You, The Lucky One, and lots more. I don't think Warner Bros would distribute our film as they have mainly distributed comedies and action films and ours falls under neither of those categories

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was distributed by Summit Entertainment.
Summit Entertainment is an American film studio and is a subsidiary of Lions Gate Entertainment.
Summit Entertainment have distributed films such as: Step up, Twilight, Letters to Juliet, Sinister, Warm Bodies & Divergent, just to name a few. I think they could distribute our film because they have distributed many of a similar genre and similar feel.
I have been doing some research into what company I think would be interested in distributing our film. I have looked into films of a similar genre to ours, I have looked at The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Cinderella Story, Sydney White and LOL.

LOL was distributed by Lionsgate Films. Lionsgate is a Canadian-American film production/distribution studio. Lionsgate have distributed films such as: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, What to expect when you're expecting, The Hunger Games & more, these are just a few of the most popular ones. I think Lionsgate would be good to distribute our film as they distribute alot of smaller films aswell as a lot of blockbusters.
Sydney White
Sydney White was distributed by Universal Studios. Universal Studios is an American studio, owned by Comcast, and is one of the six major movie studios. Universal Studios have distributed films such as: Bridget Jones's diary, Love Actually, Fast and Furious, Mamma Mia! & Charlie St Cloud. I think Universal Studios would distribute our film because they seem distribute a wide variety of film genres.
