In terms of the independent work. It was alright. It was a fun challenge. I think it’s one of the things that kept me sane. Because it allowed me to see how well I could effectively manage my time and how to fit things in. I was low at first with the number of blogs but then I got into the flow of doing them all. Then I had issues with my health and what not leading to an operation, so I crept behind once again, but as soon as I was better, I got back onto of my work and managed to get enough blogs created and published.
In terms of the teamwork. This was an interesting project for all of us. As this project challenged out tolerance levels and ability of getting along, there were times where we agreed to disagree and times where we wanted to kill each other. Though at the end of it all, I feel like it’s created a new leaf of friendship for all of us. We collaborated most of our ideas and came to a consensus of how to make it work, whenever we had difficulties we came together to try and figure it out. Though it left like some people were doing more than others.
Hidden Skills.
Throughout the planning and editing of the title sequence. For me personally, I feel as it has been easier to get things done with a semi structured planned. In terms of having a plan of how we want the beginning and end for the title sequence to be. As we filmed, we gradually grew into making improvised shots and ideas just seem to appear out of nowhere. Plus, in terms of editing, it would have made our title sequence way too long to get through, as it would have been more than at least 4 minutes if we did so. So I'm more than glad, we started to be creative and think outside of the box. We were able to explore our options and that lead us to getting really good shots that worked well in portraying the message in our story. It also helped with us leaving the audience in suspense, as at first when you first start watching it, you're trying to connect the dots and find out the relation between the girls and the attack.
