Introduce yourself to the person beside you.

Employers May Ask:

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Why are you interested in this profession
  • What are your career goals

Conversation Strategies

Lull in Conversation:

~be prepared with questions to ask

Over-Talkative Student

~look for a break in conversation to ask (Politely) if you can ask a few questions

~if no break, look for mentor at mingle after table rotations

Thank Industry Professional

~thank the mentor for their time and information both at the end of the rotation and and with an e-mail after the event
