WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT FROM

YOUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK?

We carried out a questionaire

for people to feedback on

in groups and also to people

from our target audience.

As a group we then analysed

each question and came up

with conclusions based on the

feedback given.

We got a mixture of feedback to this question, many found it did flow however people have stated that in parts it never. To expand this question we could have asked where about they find it never flowed.

We found that the majority of the people found our documentary very informative with most people saying 1/2. This shows that our documentary provided the audience with alot of information.

This was a very pleasing response as everyone we asked gave a high 1/2 showing that our music was very suitable to our topic. We agree with this as our music reflects our topic very well. We think we could have asked what choice of song they would of picked to see what the audience thought as suitable.

Question Four:

Would this five minute

extract encourage you to

watch the full program and why?

Only 6 people said they wouldn't watch the full

30 mins, however, 24 people did which shows that

the majority of our target audience would carry on

watching our documentary. This highlights that they

interested to watch more from our 5 min preview.

Question Five:

How would you rate our

documentary in terms of

being entertaining?

Through this question, we found

that our documentary was not

entertaining because the documentary

was full of facts and information. By this

we realised that maybe some humour

could of been added etc.

From this question, with an average of four, we

found that our documentary was to a professional

standard. With our careful editing and variety in

camera work, our documentary seemed very

professional an and similar to ones that would

be shown on channel 4.

The majority of our answers

agreed that it was very suitable

with some commenting that 'maybe older

females too' which I agree on as we have

an interview with an older woman featured.

This is a postive feedback as we researched

this carefully making sure our scheduling and

content reflected this.

We found that our choice of scheduling was

perfect as everybody said it was suitable with

person saying 'it would be a documentary that

people would actually watch' which is very pleasing

as it shows that our documentary was on a professional

level.

Question Nine:

How effective is our

radio trailer at advertising

our documentary?

Again, we found that our radio

trailer was very successful as most

people gave 1/2 as it 'intrigued me' which

is a very important convention in radio

trailers.

Another successful feedback. Everybody

praised our image as being very eyecatching and humourous intriguing them just as the radio trailer did. One person said that if they had seen this advertised they would 'have had to watch it'. This was very pleasing as our aims to intrigue people worked.

The answers to this question shows that

our voice over suited our topic as it was clear and very informal. One person said the choice of it being a female was very 'clever'.

Again, this shows the praise we recieved

about how well we have chosen our voice over

so that it fits the documentary.

Similair to the previous example, we have

recieved a 1 on how well our music fits our

documentary- this reflects our in depth research

our topic.

We are very glad our print advert caught

peoples eyes as this was our intention.

This reflects why we chose to schedule our

documentary on channel 4 because we thought

channel 4 would be suitable for young adults.

We posted our documentary on Social

Networking webistes such as Facebook.

This allowed people to post comments

about it.

In my opinion, this comment pleased

our group as it gave very positive feedback

on how our documentary was very professional.

Examples of the answers.

and editing used made our
