by the Inca and was found by Hiram Bingham III .it was built to a estate for the emperor
It was built at the peak of the Inca empire
The ruins of Machu Picchu are divided into two main sections known as the Urban and Agricultural Sectors. The Agricultural Sector is also divided into Upper and Lower sectors, while the Urban Sector is split into East and West sectors.
