Returning to the Shire
When about to begin his journey with the ring, Frodo tries to convice Gandalf that he would be more responsible with the ring because of his experience:
Along the way to Rivendell, Frodo and his Companions stop at Bree and meet with a man who calls himself "Strider". Strider offers to be Frodo's guide to Rivendell.
Gandalf teaches Frodo about the dangers of The Ring and of Middle Earth and how to deal with them.

Sting was a sword to Frodo by his Uncle, Bilbo.
It was an Elven dagger that glowed blue when
Orcs were nearby.
With the discovery of the ringwraths looking for a "Baggins! Shire!" Frodo has to leave for the Elven sanctuary of Rivendell in order to escape them.
The Ring is Sauron's source of power; "Into which he poured all of his malice and all of his hate". With it, Sauron is invincible, without it, he will be destroyed.
Sam is Frodo's gardener and friend who decides to join Frodo after he hears him talking to Gandalf about the ring. Pippin and Merry join Frodo because they are good friends of Frodo
Armour that is highly valued by Dwarves
for its light weight, and strength.

Gandalf tells Frodo to use the ring sparingly, because he believes it may be "The One Ring" Gandalf then tells Frodo about the dangers of the one ring. Frodo is then tempted to leave the shire with the ring because it may be harmful to the shire.
Along his way to Rivindell, Frodo and his companions come into contact with fearsome ringwraiths known as the "Nazgul". The Nazgul constantly track and attempt to take the ring from Frodo.
Forced by the Nazgul to flee the Shire, Frodo has to make the perilous journey from The Shire to the Sanctuary of Rivendell.
Frodo accepting the quest to carry the ring to Mordor, as he had shown considerable resistance to its power's already.
Bilbo's birthday introduces
Frodo, as well as the ring.
While Frodo is on his quest, Boromir trys to forcefully take the ring from Frodo. Frodo has to use the ring to escape from Boromir.
Near the end of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Smeagol, a hobbit possesed by the Ring, accompanies Frodo along with Sam. Smeagol gets rid of their food supply and blames it on Sam to separate Frodo from Sam so that it would be easier for him to take the Ring from Frodo. Frodo believes Smeagol and abandons Sam.
Galadriel, a powerful Elven Lady,
shows Frodo what will happen if
he fails to destroy The Ring.
The opening scene explains what has
happened to lead up to the events of
Lord of the Rings, and puts Middle-Earth
in perspective.
After the fellowship separates due to Frodo's dissapearance, Merry and Pippin are captured by Uruk-hai.
After Frodo leaves Sam because he believes that he is a traitor, Frodo encounters a large spider named Shelob who tangles him up in a web. Frodo is trapped with Shelob until Sam kills her and frees Frodo.
Sauron is defeated and
the Age of Man begins.
Frodo liberated Middle-Earth,
and travels to the immortal
Western land of the elves
After his journey with the Ring, Frodo leaves with Gandalf and Bilbo to the Immortal Western Lands by boat.
In the first movie, Frodo's companions are confronted by the Balrog while on a rock bridge in Moria. Gadalf goes to face the Balrog so that the rest of the fellowship could get away safely. In doing so, both he and the Balrog slip off the side of the bridge. Gandalf is thought to be dead by Frodo and the rest of the fellowship, but they later find out that he survived.
When frodo was attacked by Shelob, he was wrapped in a web and temporarily paralyzed. Because of this, it appeared to Sam that he was dead so he took the ring and continued on.
The future king of Gondor and the daughter of an Elven lord share a
love stronger then mortality.
Frodo returns to his home of the Shire,
where he gives his book to sam to look after
as well as his house, as he journeys to Rivendell.
After his quest,Frodo wakes up in a bright room with his companions next to him. He is treated with great respect, and many people thank him for helping save Middle Earth.
At the very end of the trilogy, Frodo must face his deepest fear by destroying the Ring. This task is made more difficullt when Smeagol trys to stop Frodo from destroying the Ring.
