The poaching rate is increasing rapidly!

In 2009, 122 black rhinos were killed! That is a lot of rhinos!

But, in 2010 there were over 300 black rhinos killed because of poaching! At this rate they will be gone in about 25 years.

There are a lot of organizations that are trying to stop this from happening. One of the most popular ones is The World Wildlife Fund.

There are plenty of ways you can help to stop the poaching of black rhinos. There are a lot of organizations that will take free-will donations. I already mentioned the World Wildlife Fund, but there are a lot more.

Black Rhino Population is Decreasing.

Black rhinos are being poached because of their horns. The people that are poaching them are the same people from major drug cartels. This is very illegal, but black rhino horns are very expensive, giving the poachers a greater profit.
