Obviously whilst creating our movie trailer the basic technology such as a digital camera for taking stills as these would be posted on blogger and used in our adverstisenem campaign. A cam corder was a neccesity as this is would record the foundation of our coursework. Equipent like the tri-pod was essential as this helped create clear filming. These technologies formed the stages of our work.
Research is what funded our ideas, without research we would not be able to give examples nor have knowledge of the market in which our product would be categorized in or our competitors. Research could be seen as a tedious task if not completed properly. Search engines used correctly could provide one with vast amounts of research and knowledge which would be reckognised in the planning.
The internet homes hundreds of search engines which could be used for research; Google, Youtube, I-Tunes and Youtube are the main sites I used for research.
My research supported my planning this should be evident through the stages found on my Blog.
Evaluating my work is key. It shows progression and identifies at which stage I am currently at. It allows my teacher to understand the where my work with ease rather than having to assume what my work is trying to potray. As part of our coursework we have to upload our work to blogger followed by an evaluation process. An evaluation can be presented in many ways using a wide range of programmes or softwares. Presentation can range from illustration, text or slideshow form.
I have evaluated much of my work using Blogger, Prezi and PictureTrail. I have found it more time efficient and it allows me to produce clear work that could be understood whitout difficulty.
Uploading the work to the Apple Macs was another essential stage of our work as this is where major editing took place. The work was edited on a movie editing software allocated on the Apple Macs. The work produced by the group was often transferred to several computers and what more efficient way to transfer work if not for a portable USB.
Photoshop is the programme I used to create three movie posters as well as make the changes to the final poster, I also created a magazine cover so that my group had options for the final outcome.
