Lembah Bujang is the richest archaelogical site in Malaysia. It is located in between Gunung Jerai and Sungai Muda.
The archaeological area was the site of an ancient Hindu-Buddhist kingdom that ruled the region from the
4th century AD. In addition, Lembah Bujang has Gunung Jerai which was also known as the major navigational
landmark for traders from Far East.
Lembah Bujang was a secluded place in the mainland which was perfect for traders who pass by the route from
China to India to wait for the monsoon to pass.
In addition, Lembah Bujang was one of the important ancient Hindu kingdoms of South Asia. These relations
helped spread Hindu culture and religion to the Malays.
The introduction of Hindu-Buddha has brought the invention of many religious artifacts and also candis.
