Students frequently receive compliments from guests for being

even when they are participating in activities outside of the classroom.

Tanglewood students learn to:

What is school climate?

School Climate

The Tanglewood Times is distributed bimonthly to parents to share stories and photographs of recent events at the school.

Each morning, video announcements share

important news for the day

  • birthdays
  • lunch menus
  • pictures/videos that show examples of class and student accomplishments

A variety of work from various content areas

is always on display, and all students have the

opportunity to feel proud of their work that is displayed.

Visitors are greeted by an inviting

school lobby that contains several

bulletin boards and displays.

Teachers work to create a firm foundation that will allow them to form a strong relationship with each child. Getting to know each student individually allows the teacher to identify their individual needs and diversity in relation to their learning and social development.

Tanglewood teachers integrate
