He won the war and is on his way home
On there way home Odysseus and his men arrived at The island of the Lotus Eaters
Odysseus's men eat the Lotus Flowers, which deprives them from the will to return home
He manages to break his mens spell and they continue back home to Ithica
Then they sailed to the island of the Cyclops
The evil Cyclops eats several of Odysseus's men in a cave
On night Odysseus and him men get the Cyclops drunk and stab him in the eye with a sharp piece of wood
Odysseus ties his men to sheep for protection and make there way back to there ship to leave
Then the women that rules the island, AKA Circe Turns his men into pigs
Athena give Odysseus a plant that weakens her powers. In doing so she tells him to go to the under world to speek to the blind prophet Teiresias.
The prophet tells him that his house is invaded by the suitors and there trying to marry his wife so that they can have his kingdom.
The men and Odyssus sail to the sun god island Helios
He was warned to not eat the cattle and yet his men do so zeus destroys the boat and only Odyssus survives
In all the chaos he get's thrown on to an island and gets picked up by the princess and is brought to a feast
The people of the island take him home where he and his son telemachus kill all the suitors
Once again they stop at an island known as the Enchanted Circe
