Jonas Dad
Jonas dad is not hard either. Jonas Dad and Mom are a perfect match. He is easy going sometimes doesn't follow the rules. He would let Jonas ride his bike before Jonas got his. He also looked at a childs name Gabe before he was told to do.
Jonas mom
Jonas mom is easy going. She is not to stricked with the rules and not against the rules. She will just let Jonas do what ever he wants to. She is not mean or hard on Jonas.
Asher
Asher is Jonas' best friend. Asher is jealos of Jonas
Jonas gets the assingment of reciever of memory.
When Jonas' and Asher hangout one day Jonas
remembers the memory of war when they play it
and that is when Asher gets jealos of Jonas.
The Giver
The Giver will give Jonas the memories of the old times. The Giver has lots of pain from the memories. He wants to give Jonas some of the memories of pain. Jonas wants to take them so the Giver wont be in pain.
RoseMarry
RoseMarry is the givers daughter that you later
find out in the book. RoseMary is the reciever of
before jonas was. Jonas finds out about RoseMarry
and is very sad.
Jonas
Jonas is the main character. He is turning 12 and he is to be the new receiver of memory. He will receive the memories for the city. Jonas likes the old memories and wants to change the city.
Fiona
Fiona is one of Jonas' best friends. She
is nice and sweet. Jonas' loves her so
he has to take these special pills in the
morning. Fiona gets the assingment of the
care taker of the old and she loves it.
Larrisa
Larrisa is this old lady that
Jonas meets at the old house.
She gets realesd later on and
though Jonas didn't know at the
time that realesd means killed.
Gabe
Lily
Gabe is this little boy that
Jonas' dad takes home because
he is not well. Jonas' takes Gabe
away with him because the elders are going to kill him.
Lily is Jonas' younger sister. She is 7
turning 8. She likes to ride bikes even
though she is not old enough. She is
an average girl she doesn't break a lot
of rules and she doesn't follow them
exatly.
