Tourist bus in a very common sight that can be found in Kaohsiung. It represents that there are a lot of tourists. Most of the tourist are from mainland China.
Biking in Kaohsiung is a common sight to see. The over crowdness of the city, and the high gas prices, a lot of people are biking.
Military usage is also a very common sight in Kaohsiung. Especailly since Kaohsiung is a big naval base for Taiwan.
Poverty is also here in Kaohsiung. People's houses are usually small and the whole family is cramped together. Their technology is not the best too.
Fishing and agriculture is a big part of Kaohsiung. If you travel to the country areas of Kaohisung, you will be able to see more of farms. In the city, there are a lot of fishers.

This is a perfect place for a dog to sleep. Dogs pretty much sleep in the corners no matter how cold the weather is. They have to spend their life in those area.
Dogs might become deaf, blind, or even crippled one day. No one would be willing to help them. So, they will usually die painfally. They might also get hitten by scooters or cars. It is common to see dead bodies of dogs next to the roads.
Wild dogs is a very common sight in Taiwan. My heart aches each time, I see a dog runs wild. Their eyes seem to tell me something. I really do feel sad.
