Our inspiration

Now, we started to make our prototype.

Math: 2-D Geometry

Stained Glass Window Art

Our Goal

Our goal was to create a geometric stained glass window that shows 2-D transformations and lines of symmetry.

First, we made a design on Powerpoint. We experimented with different shapes, angles, and positions. We ended up deciding to use this design.

We did our best, worked together, and this was our end result, which we are very proud of!

We used many flips, reflections, translations, and rotations in our prototype design.

After cutting and pasting the cellophane to paper, our prototype looked like this:

Using our prototype as a reference, we began to work on the enlargement to fill the window on the Primary floor of our school. We started to cut out shapes, and tape/paste cellophane to our bristol board.
