I help 2nd year medical students.... 320 of them.... learn as much as they can from the experience of visiting a family over 5 months.
I am in a different building
They are working at their own pace
We don't have time to schedule much f2f teaching
So in 2005 I started using Blackboard
mainly discussion boards
and they worked well
1100 posts, 201 participants
apart from me!
