Flash floods happen when heavy rain falls on dry hard ground and can't drain away.They can happen in minutes.

In the early morning of June 11,2010,rivers in Arkansas rose over 20 feet (6 m).The water burst the riverbanks and swept over the land killing 20 people.

Floods cause more damage and deaths than any other weather.
