Seoraksan, one of the best-known mountains of Gangwon-do.

Gangwon province

• Gangwon province is located in east side of South Korea.
• I visited the main cities- Chunchun, Sokcho, and Wonju. There are many famous places, such as Seoraksan which is one of the best-known mountains of Gangwon-do, and Donghae ocean.
• The most famous food I tried was the raw salmon and soft tofu.

Gyungju

• Gyungju is in the southeast of Korea. Gyeongju is where we can find out old Korean history, becuase it was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla which it was the capital.
• I went to go see the Sŏkkuram which is a domed circular structure of granite blocks, Bulguksa Temple, and Cheomsungdae which was used for observing the stars in order to forecast the weather.
• I got to try the delicious ssambap (rice wrapped in various types of vegetable leaves), and kalguksu (a noodle dish made of handmade).

Namhae- Treasure Island of Korea

The Volcanic Island- Jeju

• Busan is South Korea's second largest metropolis after Seoul. It is located on the Southeastern tip of Korea.
• I visited the world's largest department store- the Shinsegae Centum City, Gwangan bridge, and Haewoondae which is the most famous ocean in Korea.
• I tried so all kinds of great seafood, however the most well known food in Busan is the Pajeon, which is pan-fried green onion "pancakes" with seafood.

• Namhae Island is located in the very south of Korea. There are over 70 small unhabited islands within the county boundary.
• I went to Sangju beach the main beach, Boriam Temple to look at the beautiful view of small islands, the German Village, and walked on the Namhae Bridge.
• Namhae is known for its myeolchi (sardines), however, my favorite one was Myeolchi ssambap which contains sardines, rice, and side dishes, eaten wrapped in lettuce.

• Jeju Island, is an island off the southern coast of South Korea.
• I went to go see the Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak which is one of the best places in Korea to watch the sunrise, and went hiking on the Korea's highest Halla mountain.
• Because the Gamgyul(a citrus fruit) is very famous fruit of Jeju, I bought few boxes of Gamgyuls and Gamgyul chocolates!
