My first meeting with cancer

People needed us.

What did we do so far?

We changed a number of legislative acts and legitimized our own representatives in different work units of institutions. We became part of the board of major European and global networks.

We supported the foundation of many different patient organizations and associations

All this in some 10 years…!

We created training and rehabilitation programs for patients, programs for psychological comfort of doctors and nurses. We raised our own specialists- we already have the first Ph.D. student in onco-psychology

For 8 years the funds for cancer treatment increased from 52 million in 2003 to 140 ml. BGN in 2011. The number of the treated BG cancer patients is increased from 25% to 39%!
