Sophie McDonald is an Information Services Librarian at UTS Library. She is involved in investigating web 2.0 and emerging technologies that could be used in the development of new information literacy programs and library services. Sophie has recently created social networking sites Facebook and Twitter for the Library as a way to engage with clients in their online communities. As a blogger, Sophie is interested in the idea of the 'library of the future' and ways new technology can influence the user-experience in physical and digital space.
