Mise-en-scene
Lighting: The lighting is usually very bright and natural as they want a happy and energetic feel to the video.
Costume: They will have expensive/visually appealing clothes on as it will look very flash and new. They will also have expensive houses or cars in the video.
Setting: The setting will be in a very wealthy environment to match create a sense of fame for the pop artist/band.

The editing will match the tempo of the song. As most pop songs are upbeat, the editing will conventionally be fast paced, this also helps add the excitement and energy to the track.
Camera Work
The types of shots are conventional of any music video, they have a range of shots including close-ups, mid shots and long shots. They will use extreme long shots to help the viewer see the surroundings and may use lower angle shots to create a sense of the artist/band being very powerful and popular.
