Name 2:
Name 1:
I like the use of alliteration with the 'soul' and 'sound'
I came up with this because a lot of pop rock artists look like they are "rawing" on stage when captured in a pictures.
(seen in pictures)
I think this is quite a formal
name, however could be made
less formal by creating a certain
style with it (such as font/colour)
A definition of raw is something that has not yet been finished or is still in its natural condition.
I think this is a good word to resembles the pop rock music genre as the artists within it like to stand out from the crowd and be different. They tend not to care about peoples views about them therefore won't change because of someones opionions. Remaining in 'natural'
Its short so is quick to read and
wouldn't take up much space on the
magazine.
I think a lot of people like music and put a lot of soul into it because of this. The word 'sound' the connects the two together as music is technically sound
Even though the title is fairly long, I think it rolls nicely off the tongue and would fit well on the top of the cover
Name 3:
This is similar to the one seen before, however I have
incorporated the word 'sound' with it. I think this makes it more music based as the word 'sound' resembles music. 'Raw' on its own doesn't really show that the magazine would be music based on its own. However I do still like 'Raw' and I think this adaption to that is good as well.
My name ideas are going to be for a pop rock magazine. Ideally I would like them be be based around a music genre as it is more a music magazine and more so for a pop rock music genre. .
I want it to stand out as something creative and new.
Name 4:
I think rage is a good word to use in the title because it goes well with the rock part of the pop rock genre as it resembles the pop rock genre through the music and in some of the lyrics
I like 'Rage' on its own, but I think the use of 'sound' at the front makes the name more music based (similar to the name in the last slide).
Name 5:
I love the name rampage because its nice of the tongue and it quite a strong word which would stand out on the cover of a magazine. I think this would look good it it took up the top of the cover and went right across as it would make it bold.
When you hear the word 'rampage' you think that something is happening and it may be slightly chaotic which creates a exiting atmosphere so you want this to be based on the magazine to get people interested in it.
I think pop rock artists on stage like to make the audience act almost as if they are in a rampage as it gives it that rocky edge to there performace so this name would suit the genre of the magazine
