The beginning of his career
He graduated from the U of U (University of Utah) with a Bachelors degree. While working as an advertiser, he wrote a story for his children called "The Christmas Box." He was Unable to find a publisher so he published it himself.
As of now, Richard has written 31 bestselling novels in the United States.
About Michael
Four of his books have been turned into movies. Another famous series is the Michael Vey one. He named it after his son, Michael. In the book, Michael deals with Tourettes syndrome. Richard wrote it for his son because HE suffers from Tourettes. He also stated that he wanted people to know that even if you have a disability, you can still be a hero.
Richard is the author of many books. He mostly does more realistic books. His most famous is "Christmas Box".
