Bionic matter combined in brown dwarfs or small dense chunks of the heavier elements.

There are many theories as to what it could be but none are actually very convincing.
Could exist as black holes, brown dwarfs, or unknown atomic particles
We know a lot more about what it is not than what it is.
What is Dark Energy?
Makes up 70% of the Universe
A property of the Universe
A form of energy that permeates all of space.
Not to be confused with dark matter, dark fluid, or dark flow
Possibly a new theory of gravity.
A popular way to explain the expansion of the Universe
New kind of dynamical fluid or field that fills all of space, although its effect on the expansion of the Universe is the opposite of "normal" matter and energy
Implications?
That we could use it for another form of energy/ fuel source.
That it would allow us to possibly do much more than we already can and expand our horizons with the addition to our known technology.
Impacts?
It keeps us from knowing things because it is hard to see (no light)
That it makes up 95% of the Universe therefore there isn't much that isn't either dark matter or dark energy.
