Hitchcock attended many interviews to talk about his movies and this is one of them from the BBC...

Hitchcock's work has influenced a lot of modern horror films in the techniques and style of filming. He has left a mark on the industry and is still known for his unique ideas, this shows what an impact his work has done even though he has died. He is still very much known for being a cultural icon.

MASTER OF SUSPENSE

Hitchcock created more than 50 films, including the classics Rear Window, The 39 Steps and Psycho. Nicknamed the "Master of Suspense," Hitchcock received the AFI's Life Achievement Award in 1979.

He was well known for his camera angles and the way he made viewers feel towards his films. A well known film 'Psycho' from 1960 shows these famous chosen techniques...

He started in the film industry in 1920 and after having a successful career in British cinema in silent films and talkies. He became England's best director for being well known for his techniques in the suspense and psychological thriller genre. He moved to Hollywood in 1939 where he achieved his American award for film 'Rebecca'
