We decided that we needed a victim for the viewers to sympathise with

We chose Tom to act because he smoked which is what we needed for both conventions and a modern, rebelious image and portrayal of teenagers

We made a plot and we needed a vehicle at the end of the sequence for a mystery/cliff hanger end to the film so I called my Uncle because he has a nice Suzuki Motorbike which was perfect for Thriller conventions and made an intertextual reference with kill bill

We made storyboards which we then used to make a rough shot list

We Then organised when we would film over the Christmas holidays

When filming we found our storyboards and shotlist could only aid us as a rough guide for the shots we were capable of getting

We shot numerous times to get the footage that we wanted

Here are some screenshots of our Thriller and some of the shots that we are proud of and think help the Genre

In the next shot, the lighting is much like 'The Third Man' with the mysterious shadows conveyed by the almost chiaroscuro lighting

Originally, when designing the Film on storyboard etc, I wanted to have the shots of the road at the beginning stay for the transition from Light to Dark shortened by the timestretch tool on Adobe Premier Elements 7 however, I could not do this at the time because of lack of both time and battery. I filmed this from my camcorder plugged in from my house to show what I intended to do.

We found that in our target demographic, Thrillers were not the favourite genre at all which is why we included a fight to lean our film more towards the more popular 'Action' genre

I used Cubase to record the entire soundtrack of our film

I wanted to make our soundtrack like this because it meant I could taylor the soundtrack almost perfectly and use instruments which reflect modern popularities and that our target demographic could relate to well

I have already uploaded my film to YouTube in hope of views and audience feedback. If I were to enter my film for competitions, There would be a slim chance that I could gain funding to finish my film. In this case I would aim to have my film available for download at the following globally known web-accessable places. My target demographic would then find it easy to access my film. YouTube is ideal for film makers because of its easy publicity and audience feedback.

Cubase is a new technology that has enabled me to create a high standard of music production and the software is cheap in comparison

We chose the title 'Revenge' because we thought that

it fitted the films plot and context

Me and Tom worked on a plot about teenage crime that our chosen young target demographic would apreciate and enjoy
