6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

during the process of making our thriller opening, i have learnt many new skills and how to use new and interesting softwear. I find all this extreamly useful for the future.

For example, Final cut is one of the progammes

i was new to using. I had heard of Final cut before, but never properly used it to edit. I find that i picked up the most important skills rather quickly, they weren't too complicated to get used to. For an example, i learnt how to speed up a shot or make the shot slow motion. I can do do this very easily and rapidly.

Another progamme i used a lot

while producing our thriller opening

is 'Garage Band'. I had used Garage band before

in the past, but never to edit a media project. I learnt a few new skills which will be helpfull in the future when i use garage band again. For example, one thing i learnt to do was to change the effect of the sound/music you are using, like changing the guitar to whispers or echo.

While using garage

band, i also learnt how

to convert Garage band to mp3.

Learning how they all work together, i find, is very important.

I also used a few online, free software resources. For example, one is 'blogger'. This is what i used most frequently throughout this project. Using the blogger, and knowing how to, was very important. This was the first time i had ever seen or used the blogger, however i found it very easy and clear to use!

while using blogger, i learnt a few new

key things which will help me in the future when using blogger. One thing i learnt was to embed a youtube video to the blog. This was very useful as i was doing this process a lot. Also i learnt how to add different pictures to the blog which, is also very important when writing a post.

I find final cut being very usefull for many

different reasons. One main reason is that using Final cut brings each clip alive. Even if you edit it slightly, it still makes the whole thing more effective and interesting to watch.
