How to use UMPro Template v4.3

UMPro Template is a product of Ezdihaar GS. It was designed, independently, based on UM original template and according to the thesis 2015 guidelines to help the Postgraduates in thesis writing process. Use this template on your accordance and responsibility.

The template in addition to formatting the linear content, it is facilitated with Caption-Blocks Method for inserting figures, tables, equations and landscape pages.

This template is facilitated with keyboard shortcuts to format text headings and with Caption-Blocks to insert captions for figures, tables and equations in a handy way.

To insert Chapters Heading:

To insert Subsection heading or Heading 5:

Type or select the heading text required:

while pressing

Crtl + Alt, press 1 as well.

while pressing

Crtl + Alt, press 5 as well.

When you press

f then F3

A figure caption block will appear

this will convert the text into Heading one fromat

To insert Caption Block for figure press

"f" then F3

This will convert the text into Heading 5 format

to send the Heading to a new line, press Shift +Enter

Go to insert tab and insert the required figure

To insert Appendix Heading::

Then write a suitable description in the lower raw.

The caption will Automatically added to the list of figures

To insert Section heading or Heading 2:

Type or select the heading text required:

Crtl + Alt, press 2 as well.

this will convert the text into Appendix Heading format

This will convert the text into Heading 2 format

to send the Heading to a new line, press Shift +Enter

To insert Appendix Subtitle:

To insert Subsection heading or Heading 3:

Type or select the heading text required:

Crtl + Alt, press 8 as well.

while pressing

Crtl + Alt, press 3 as well.

This will convert the text into Appendix subtitle

This will convert the text into Heading 3 format

To revert to normal style

while pressing Crtl + Alt, press 0 as well.

When you press

t then F3

A table caption block will appear

When you press

e then F3

An equation caption block will appear

To insert Caption Block for table press

"t" then F3

To insert Caption Block for equation press

"e" then F3

Go to insert tab and insert the required table

In the left colunm type of insert the required equation

Then write a suitable description in the upper raw.

The caption will Automatically added to the list of figures, if you have one.

To insert Appendix Sub-subtitle:

To insert Subsection heading or Heading 4:

the caption will Automatically added to the list of tables

Type or select the heading text required:

Crtl + Alt, press 9 as well.

Crtl + Alt, press 4 as well.

This will convert the text into Appendix Sub-subtitle
