Tilt shift is a style of photography that combines different plans of focus and movement of lens giving us the impression that large scales objects are miniatures. It is a creative way of showing things in a way that people are not used with. In this style, the photographer uses the rotation movements of the lens plane relative to the image plane which is called “tilt”, and also movement of the lens parallel to the image plane called “shift”. Changing the orientation of the plane of focus (PoF) enhancing a part of an image that appears sharp, and adjusting the position of the subject in the image area without moving the camera back allows us to make this kind of photography. It is helpful when photographing tall building or large objects. These movements are possible since the early day of photography and nowadays there is programs or apps that allow us to make these effects easily.
