Running Record: I had never experienced a R.R. in my educational career before. I was very interested in learning about it, see how it evaluated students, and how lessons can be created from the assessment. However, to get started I felt lost because I had never used one before.
Peer discussion and feedback during this course was excellent. If I felt stuck or unclear about something I could count on a classmate to help with the issue.
ELA teachers that I observed were also very helpful in answer questions, providing examples, and offering guidance with assignments, assessments, and management.
Every syllabus is different, but have the same end goal in mind: letting your students know what is expected from them through a timeline; days, weeks, months. With that being said there were pros and cons to ours, just like there is for every syllabus out there.

Pros:
ELL Case Study: This study really helped me to connect with not just one struggling student, but helped me to understand where 75% of my own students are coming from. Many of my students are bilingual, and struggle with ELA, which carries into every subject area.
Cons:
