Film Outline:

There is a man who is suffering the loss of his wife, he is distressed and contemplates about suicide in the start of the movie by hanging himself, but then decided not to. During the opening and throughout the movie there will be flashbacks showing memories of his wife. After he decides not to take his life he goes insane and plots revenge on everyone involved in his wife’s death. He ends up dying in the process, the last person he is after ends up killing him.

Outline of Opening:

He is going to be sitting at a table. He has a pen and notepad and appears to be writing a note, there will be a noose and article of his wife’s death next to the table suggesting to the audience that it is a suicide note.

The main genre is Thriller. The sub genre we have chosen to use is Psychological. We got our inspiration from movies like saw and scream which are good examples of psychological thrillers.

Target Audeince : 18- 35

The mystery as to whether he kills himself (film opening) and psychological events that occur; also what we see from his past ( through flashbacks) and the things that happen The present throughout the film will keep the audience captivated.

Hammer Film productions will be our production company as it is a company based in the U.K which has produced many top quality horror films like The Mummy, The Woman In Black, and Dracula Ressurected.

Entertainment Film Distributers will help our distribution as they are the U.K leading independent film distributers

Equipment:

We have learnt to use the camera to a sufficient enough standard to do our filming. We know the correct settings the camera should be programmed on and know now how to operate it.

We also know how to use the Apple MAC computers to edit our clips on a program called ‘Final cut pro’ . Also, we are now able to add sound effects to the clips with the program ‘Soundtrack Pro’.

Blogging:

Before adding clips to the Blogger site, we first convert them using the program ‘MPEG Streamclip’ to comprese the size of the video.

Considering we are filming in a grave yard we have taken into consideration that we have to be respectful and take extra care while filming and maintaining the equipment as the ground will be un even and stones may be around. Furthermore it is in a busy street and people will be walking through so we must make sure that we don’t affect their travel or not to get them in the clip.

In Nathaniel’s house we will also have to take extra pre cautions, as we will be filming in a small space with other hard surfaces around in order to avoid injuries.
