Tyson posted a picture on his facebook about picking up a hitch hiker. I laughed. And then I thought about it. There he was with this clearly destitute man at Subway, buying his lunch, and I just thought “this is important”. It reminded me of Grandpa. And ultimately of Christ. I make fun of Tyson a lot, that's part of what's fun to be us. But I was moved, touched tenderly, man style. I don't know honestly if I had respected something someone had done so much in a long time. I distinctly remember lamenting at my Granpa's funeral, how our generation isn't nearly as giving or self-sacrificing as the one before us. I always hoped one day somehow somewhere in the distant future I'd be like that. Here I am. It's time to be more like Tyson for once. I don't know if I'll ever say that again.
LSAT. I'm done. Won't know for three weeks. Big step. And I'm done. Often the anticipation is more intense then the experience. It makes it a little hard to focus on my science undergrad that doesn't much matter anymore.
