Battle at Bunker Hill
In Conclusion....
I do believe, that without these God's help and guidance, we wouldn't have this flag flying high in the sky today. I'm so eternally grateful for God, and His hands in guiding the Revolutionary War.
The Fog
This battle took place on June 17, 1775. It was the second battle in the Revolutionary War. The British won this battle.
The Drunk Hessian
I think that this is one of the coolest stories and miracles of the whole Revolutionary War. I think the most amazing part to me, was when the fog completely left, when they were done crossing the river. Amazing. :)
This story is so... Yeah. A Hessian General was playing cards, and drinking his night away on Christmas eve. A messenger came with note for him, he slipped it into his pocket, and didn't look at it again. It was the note that told him that Washington's army would be coming and to prepare. Of course he didn't. And on Christmas morning, Washington's army won another battle.
The Woman Cannoneer
I think that women are often times the most Heroic. This woman was in charge of getting water to her husband and several more american soldiers, who were loading and shooting cannons. Her husband fell dead, and she was courageous enough to take his place. She stood standing the whole time, never dying. Amazing.
