Interior Design
- One of just two programs in the nation that requires a studio-based curriculum
- Only program in the nation to require integrated multidiscipline studios with architecture
- The program consistenly has a 99% employment rate with the other 1% continuing with graduate studies.
BCS students compete yearly at the Associated Schools of Construction
(ASC) Commercial Construction and Design/Build competitions.
- Accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
- Students gain real-world work experience through an internship before graduation.
- 100% employment rate (consistently)
Six universities were represented at the 2016 American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) South Central Chapter Career Day. MSU Interior Design students received more than half of the awards.
