Originally surfaced in 1963, only beginning with 4 of the Jackson brothers, including Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, and Jackie, with Jackie being the lead singer. A year later Michael was added to the group of singers.

Beginning the group was because of the kids. They enjoyed playing with their fathers guitar, which they weren't supposed to and their father found out. Ending in a good result later.

The Jackson 5 was originally founded by Diana Ross, but the man that got them put them on stages were Bobby Ray and Gladys Knight. The artists of Motown. Diana was their public face, she introduced them to the public and on television.
