In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Another video of my group and myself giving our evaluation on this particular question. We try to focus on conventions and semiotics and how we have managed to challenge or conform. Not only do we discuss this we also bring in the reasons as to why and where our ideas came from.

This is to signify the genre with the use of instruments and an element of performance.

This is the typical clothing our cast wore on the day of filming.

This is an example of the clothing of our main singer which we realised after may have been a better idea to have dressed her in something a little more eycatching and exciting to fit the tone of the video.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

This is a video which my group members and I have recorded of ourselves to evaluate how effective we feel the combination of our product and subsidiary texts are. For us, it was important to focus on the theme of the video and the tasks and try to keep this throughout.

How did you use media technologies in the

construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

A video of my group and I evaluating our use of media technologies. Luckily we have a group filled with mixed technological abilities. Because of this the video goes into detail on many aspects which we had to consider and use for out product.

What have you learned from your audience feedback?

This is a video of a focus group which we recorded while they watched our product and after to record their feedback. You see their reactions to certain parts of our video and then their answers to questions which we ask to iniate feedback on our video.

It's exciting to see reactions and emotions while the video is being played aswell as the enthusiasm in the feedback. It really helps to learn from this feedback and use it for our evaluation.
