Facts

  • Megaupload, one of the internet largest file-sharing site, has been shut down by officials in the U.S.

What is it?

  • It's a law against the fact of finding files under a copyright freely.
  • Wikipedia, one of the internet biggest source of information, closed for a day as a protest.
  • Supported by politicians and companies related to music and filming fields.
  • Twitter, Facebook and Google could join the protest and be shut down for a whole day.

My views and problem

solving.

  • To begin with I'd like to say I don't support this law at all. I believe that there must be any other way of solving this issue without letting the world population without information resources, social networks and so on. However it's true that a lot of files flow in the net without control. People nowadays can obtain nearly everything just by clicking, even the newest album of a famous singer which it hasn't been released yet. On the other hand we can say that artist don't get money from these CDs. They get it from concerts and Ads. So why wasting 20€ in a CD when we just like two songs of it? Wouldn't it be better just to download those songs and to solve that problem?
  • So as a possible solution, I'd say it'd be useful and better to control and dose this media. Like havng a "credit card" with "money" to "buy" this media per month. So you could get just some files and not all of them.
