After asking questions to a group of teenagers that out documentray was aimed at we found out that they felt that the sport was an exiting thing to learn about and that they would consider learning it, however felt that looking at some of the skills that we filmed they felt that it might be too difficult to learn. Even though they felt this they all said that they thought that it was an enjoyable documentary to watch and that they would want to watch an actual full lenghted documentary on this topic.
From the audience research we constructed (placing the product on facebook, youtube and asking people questions about it) we found out the majorety of people that we asked whether they found it interesting or not sait that they thought it was exiting throughout however a few people we asked said that although they found it interesting they did lose interest at some point as there were too many tricks to keep track of. therefore if we were to do it again we would add more intereviews or profecional opinions to keep attention.
when we asked them about the radio advertisement they all said although it was a good idea and a good script to the product they felt like the narrater was lacking the exitement that it needed to fully sell the documentary to people. Therefor if we were to record the advertisement again we would make sure that the narrator sounded exited to be representing the sport.
when asked about what they thought the newspaper advertisement was about before being shown the documentary, the majoretly of people were not sure what it was about, most saying "it just shows some peoples feet on a wall" however a few people said what we were hoping the people would think about the documentary and figured out what it was about immediatly. however no matter which people we asked whether they got what it was about or not they all said they would want to watch the documentary to find out more.
Over all we found that the documentary was successful as they all said they would want to learn more about the sport from each media product. they all gave feedback about how it could be improved e.g using an image of a free runner to portray a better image of the sport, and using a more exited sounding narrator on the radio advertisement to entise people to watch.
